DESIGN DOESN'T STOP

For the world of architecture or, more generally, of the project, this is the week of design and Milan, with its Salone del Mobile, represents its capital. The furniture, the colors, the stands, the lights, the concepts, together with the events and the designers are the absolute protagonists of the city. In this harrowing beginning of spring, the city, which has become the "event building" of Italy, is empty, immobile, suspended in time.

But something extraordinary is taking place: while we are "forced" to stay at home, in the silence of isolation (observed in response to the Coronavirus emergency) a digital noise explodes. Online inauguration of installations and pavilions. Live on instagram. Millions of posts of the best memories of the Salone and Fuorisalone flood all kinds of social networks.

While scrolling between one brand and another, I come across - digitally - the “SOFA TALK” organized by NATUZZI .

Pasquale Junior Natuzzi thus begins - from the sofa at home - a friendly conversation

We are the highest expression of nature and by drawing I want to give back all the beauty that nature gives me. For this reason my works represent a constant 'tribute to beauty'. The common thread is love for what surrounds me.

Even if the unnatural rhythms of human life tend to detach us from it,

everything is in the harmony of man with nature .

Circumstances literally stopped my breath in half this year.

I feel like an actor who has been rehearsing a show for a whole year, and the day before its debut, they cancel it. I had prepared something crazy, about 12 meters. Today I leave you with bated breath, but get ready that I have 'a lot of stuff' for you. "

In this moment of emergency it was necessary to stop but creativity is a phenomenal active energy that reminds us that design does not stop . Let us be overwhelmed ... ... even staying on a sofa.
